Unexpected sell-out. My sincere apologies regarding that pink Harley.
To be honest, I never expected it to sell out so quickly.
The vintage Harley-Davidson archive item that just came in. It featured a large "MOTOR HARLEY-DAVIDSON CYCLES" logo on the front, and "Deluxe Harley-Davidson of Gillette, Wyoming" lettering with a bison and mountain graphic on the back. All of this was printed on a faded pink fabric, making it quite a rare piece, to be frank.
Why such a quick response?
Vintage Harley T-shirts are already a popular genre, but this particular item was unique because of its color. While black and grey are standard for Harley graphic T-shirts, a pink that has faded so beautifully with age is genuinely hard to come by. Furthermore, it had a state-exclusive design on the back print. I knew it was "one of a kind" the moment I acquired it.
That's why the reaction the moment it was listed was different from usual. Rather than a few minutes, it felt like it sold out in an instant, and I believe many who tried to add it to their cart were unable to purchase it. We received many inquiries. I am truly sorry.
To be honest, I also feel a sense of frustration.
From our perspective, I wish we could have prepared more. However, this is a one-of-a-kind item. We cannot procure multiple items with the same fade and condition. That's why we continue with the style of "carefully selecting and delivering only one item," but this time, it unfortunately led to many voices saying, "I wanted it but couldn't buy it."
Going forward
Honestly, rare items like this can only be stocked irregularly in the future. However, the next time a similar vintage item is found, we will try to announce "upcoming arrival" as early as possible before selling it. We will work to minimize instances of "it was over before I knew it" like this time.
To everyone who couldn't buy it, I am truly sorry. We will create another opportunity.
